Public transport, customer service centres and parking lots are going to function under a different schedule during the holidays
Please be informed that there are going to be changes in the operation of public transport, customer service centres and parking lots managed by “Rīgas satiksme” during the pre-holiday period and the holidays
Public transport
From Saturday, June 20, through Wednesday, June 24, public transport (buses, trolleybuses and trams) in the capital city is going to run according to the holiday schedule. Please make sure to check the current information at www.rigassatiksme.lv or by calling the information service on 20361862 when planning your trip.
Tickets
From June 20 through June 24, public transport users can use holiday tickets, whereas weekday tickets will not be effective during this period. “Rīgas satiksme” reminds that, pursuant to the Interim Administration of the Riga City Council, in order to observe the restrictions currently imposed in the country and to avoid congestions, public transport services will not be free of charge on June 23 and June 24 this year, but all discounts and benefits will remain effective.
Customer service centres
On Saturday, June 20, and Monday, June 22, customer service centres will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except for the one at 49/53 Brīvības Street, which is going to be closed on these days.
On June 21, the customer service centre at 1 Spīķeru Street is going to be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All other customer service centres will be closed.
All customer service centres will be closed on June 23 and June 24.
Parking lots
On Monday, June 22, the paid parking lot in Vecrīga (zone R) is going to function from 6:00 a.m. till midnight, and the one in Vecāķi will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; the current fees will remain in effect. Other municipal paid parking lots in Riga operated by “Rīgas satiksme” will be available free of charge on June 22.

The underground parking lot at 5a Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, near the Congress Hall, will be available on the pre-holiday days and holidays as per the currently effective tariff.
